Basic Pork Rub

Ingredients:

1/3 cup paprika
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons Kosher salt
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons cayenne
1 teaspoon white pepper



Mix all ingredients. Work 1/2 half mixture into meat 12-24 hours before cooking. Apply remaining rub before smoking. Makes enough for about 5 to 6 pounds of meat.



Kansas City Rib Rub

Ingredients:

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup paprika
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Kosher salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne

Preparation:



Combine all ingredients together and transfer to an air tight container. Maybe stored up to six months.



A Carolina BBQ Rub
Ingredients:

2 tablespoons Kosher salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup paprika

Preparation:



Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well; use as a dry rub on beef, chicken, lamb or pork.



Memphis Rub
Ingredients:

1/2 cup paprika
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup mild chili powder (use medium or hot to kick up the heat)
3 tablespoons Kosher salt
3 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons celery seeds
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
3 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons ground coriander
2 teaspoons ground allspice

Preparation:



Mix together all ingredients until well combined. Store in an airtight container. May be stored for up to 6 months.



Bobby Flay's Signature Rub:

2T Ancho chile powder
2 teaspoons each:
Spanish paprika
Ground coriander
Dry mustard
Ground dried oregano
Ground cumin
1 teaspoon each Kosher salt and pepper



Central BBQ's Rib Rub:

1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon granulated garlic
1 tablespoon granulated onion
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon white pepper







Texas Style Sweet with a little Heat

2 tablespoons Kosher salt
1/2 cup paprika
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons garlic powder
3 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons oregano
1 tablespoon of Ground Black Pepper
1 tablespoon of Cayenne Pepper

Or

5 tablespoons paprika
3 tablespoons Kosher salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons ground cumin





Rub simple

50/50 salt and pepper (4Tbs each)kosher salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 tbs paprika
1/2 tbs cayenne pepper

Squeal like a pig rub

2 cups Sugar
2 cups Brown Sugar
2 cups Kosher Salt
2 cups Black Pepper
1 cup Chili Powder
1 cup Paprika
3/4 cup Turmeric
1/4 cup Cayenne pepper
1/4 cup Garlic Powder
1/4 cup Onion Powder

Smaller part
Squeal like a pig rub

8 TBS Sugar
8 TBS Brown Sugar
8 TBS Kosher Salt
8 TBS Black Pepper
4 TBS Chili Pepper
4 TBS Paprika
3 TBS Turmeric
1 TBS Cayenne pepper
1 TBS Garlic powder
1 TBS Onion powder

Corky's Dry Rub recipe
1 tsp Cayenne
3 Tbsp Kosher Salt
3 Tbsp Course Pepper
2 Tbsp Dried Thyme
2 Tbsp Marjoram
6 Tbsp Cumin
4 Tbsp Allspice
6 Tbsp Paprika*
2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
4 Tsp Celery Salt**
4 Tbsp Chili Powder
Whisk all together and store in a tightly sealed container.

* I use 3 tablespoons regular paprika & 3 tablespoons Smoked Sweet Hungarian paprika
** I make my own celery salt ~ 1 tablespoon celery seeds + 2 tablespoons sea salt
Put into a spice or coffee grinder ~ grind till fine then store in a tightly sealed container.

Sweet, Spicy and Smoky Dry Rub

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of light brown sugar
2 tablespoons of salt (I used Lo Salt reduced sodium alternative)
1 tablespoon of chipotle chili powder
1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
2 teaspoons of ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Directions:

Place everything into a mini food processor, Vitamix or you can mix by hand or by adding everything to a tupperware container with a lid. Process until well-combined. Store in a container with a lid for up to 6-9 months.

Rub

2 TBS Paprika
2 TBS Chili Powder
2 TBS Black Pepper
1 TBS Garlic Powder
1 TBS Onion Powder
1/4 cup Kosher Salt
1 TBS Cayenne pepper
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 TBS Lowery Season Salt

Copy Cat Texas Roadhouse Rub
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons brown sugar
¼ teaspoon cornstarch
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a gallon-sized plastic bag and seal it tightly. Shake it to thoroughly combine all ingredients
