On recent struggles since end of last season: "It's been difficult to get back on top of it, but it's there, there are so many improvements. ... Unfortunately, it takes a little time."

I'd like him to name three things.  I can think of one, Limpert.  Anyone got something else that has improved?

PorkRinds

Special teams. Beyond that I'm drawing a blank.

Okay, you are right, I should have done that first instead of going off of what other people said was said.
So basically all my complaining was for nothing and I'm a dumbass.  I should have just watch the presser BEFORE commenting.

Not as hard to find parking on game day.

Our defensive and offensive lines have improved on opening holes, for opposing teams to walk through.

We came from behind to beat a creampuff, for once.

Since last year the Team had fell apart.
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

You can sit on the fifty yard line, even if you only have end zone seats.

You people don't even know enough to comment on this stuff.  For instance, how many of you smartasses knew that fully 98% of the kids are getting to the 5:00 a.m. meeting by 3:35 a.m. instead of the 82% before the season?  How many of you knew that team
mandatory attendance to optional labs and workshops is now at 100%?  And did you know that Brian Wallace is no longer missing starts because of improperly tied shoelaces?

The improvements have been by leaps and bounds this year but you haters will never know about them nor acknowledge them if you did.

Uhhh....make that twice (this year).

Well I suppose the answer to your particular post has pretty much to do with what one means by "success" or "improvement". If, as you say, the kids are showing up on time and getting the work done then obviously that's very good  news and credit to them. I honestly don't know; therefore, I will have to take you word for it.

On the other hand, I DO KNOW FOR A FACT, as does everyone else, that we AREN'T getting it down on the field. Now we can argue and debate till the cows come home about the reasons for such poor performances. However, the ONE thing that can't be debated, disputed, argued or whatever is that the staff, starting and ending with the HC, is NOT getting the job done in either preparation, scheming, coaching up and most certainly in-game adjustments. Failure on a grand scale, not the players so much, but from the very top. So if this is your particular definition of "improvement by leaps and bounds" I'll have to call a major b.s. foul. And that I'm going to criticize without remorse or apology.

Easy for you to find out....just go into the profile section. And while we're at it HOW LONG HAVE YOU ??? I mean after over 20k posts something as simple as that ought to be well known to you. Brilliant and a regular Norman Einstein level response.

Don't know and honestly don't care. However, that somewhat begs the question: why blast those who criticize this idiot ??? I mean your best response is an eye roll to a comment I made about the coaches' failures. I honestly respect the effort(s) each player puts in. While they may not always execute on the field, I still support them because they're obviously not being paid and I truly believe they're doing their best. And I can certainly appreciate the extra work and discipline they're showing. So what's the reason for your reaction. I do have to wonder.

every time he gets in front of a mike, he is trying to convince some ad some where that he can coach. it is a job interview.  his agent is going to tell people, the program was close to busting through but the idiot fans did not let him finish the job.

In the teleconference, once again Bielema mentioned the microwave society where everyone wants things right now.  Somehow he doesn't think that five years is long enough.

I could have cooked an entire side of beef with a book of matches or a magnifying glass in the time he's had to build this program.

I hope he gets credit next year for the great success someone else is having here. That would be awesome.

It really kind of pisses you off when he talks about microwave society and folks expecting things right now.
He's been paid almost $20 million to make the program worse than it was the day he walked through the door.
I just really don't get how he thinks people shouldn't expect better results.

I've never been convinced of his being this wonderful, great guy - and the more I see and hear from him lately, I'm convinced he's not and never was.
