All the kids that paid attention in 2012?? This has been known ever since then, however, 40% of the players that signed D-I LOI's in 2012 would have had to redshirt under these requirements.

Certainly puts a little more "teeth" into rules that prevent "games" being played to get kids miraculously eligible academically in the past couple semesters of high school. Anyone who actually thought that most, if not all, of these kids who happened to wake up and get their academic house in order during their senior isn't dealing in reality. However, this definitely won't impact the Hogs IMO as the staff has already been watching grade and test qualifications like a hawk. Should also put an end to any recruit who says they really don't know how they stand academically when it comes to qualifying for a scholarship.
