Alabama DBs alone in this draft.. 4.36, 4.35, 4.47
Their 230lb Running back ran a 4.52 with a 40' vertical..

and our 185lb DB is running a 4.63 40...

Lol.

Hard to out scheme someone when the difference in physical talent is that big! Unless we can close the gap some Morris wont beat Bama either.

LSU had a 4.32 and a 4.34 in there secondary this year..lol.. Now we know why Morris is all about getting some speed to the Hill.

And that DB single handedly shut down Bama's #4 overall draft pick receiver who ran a 4.42 at the combine...

Really, I don't think you can gather much from our game with Bama last year.  It was over 5 minutes into the first quarter.
The more smites the more intelligent I get.

I was a huge HT that year, but it was his peak year.  Wasn't that the year he had spaight and T Mitchell help a little as well in the coverages?   It was also our best overall defense in a long time.

It actually wasn't his peak year, though that was probably his peak game as a pure cover corner. As for the help, he didn't have help so much in the coverages as it was that he had help in other people taking care of their business. I.e. his help covering Cooper that year was that he didn't have to try and cover him for 5 seconds type of thing.

I'd actually say his peak year came as a sophomore in 2015 though his senior year this year was pretty good as well.

In 2015, he had 4 tackles for loss, 8 passes defended, and 43 solo tackles and 55 total tackles.
In 2017, he only had 1 tfl (playing on the outside rather than the slot), but had 3 interceptions, a fumble return for a td, 6 passes defended, and teams avoided throwing too him much more.

For an outside source, https://247sports.com/college/arkansas/Bolt/3-Arkansas-Razorbacks-honored-named-to-coaches-All-SEC-teams-Jaylen-Barford-Daryl-Macon-Daniel-Gafford-115898207 Toliver through the first half of this season graded out as the 2nd best corner in the SEC. Of course that was a SEC-lite part of the season, but same is true for the other teams as well. Don't see anything for the entire season, so I'm guessing  he didn't finish in the top 5.
