DEADLINE

Sign-up: Deadline for entry into the contest will be September 27th at Midnight.  This is because bow season opens up on October 1st and teams have to be drawn. 

Season: Contest will run from October 1, 2008 - February 28, 2009.


TEAMS

There will be teams of 3 or 4, depends on how many enter the contest.  Team members will be randomly drawn.


TYPE OF WEAPON

Deer may be harvested with any type of legal firearm: bow, crossbow, muzzleloader, gun, etc.  NO VEHICLES, or ATV's.

SCORING

5 points per deer. Buck or Doe.
1 additional point will be added for every point on a rack of 1 inch or more.
1 additional point added for every inch of spread rounded to the nearest 1/2 inch.


Ex: 8 point Buck ( 5 ) + ( 8 ) with 15 3/4 spread ( 16 ) = 29 points


ENTRY

*ARKANSAS DEER ONLY.  (I killed an 11 point last year out-of-state, and didn't get to enter it.) A team member can enter a maximum of 3 deer for the team total. Two bucks and a doe, or vice versa. If your in a two deer zone, hopefully your other team members aren't, and pick up the slack.  The deer must be legally harvested in the 2008 season.  No mounts!

When posting your harvest:
- Screen name,Team
- Date of Harvest
- Weapon
- Total legal points (atleast 1 inch long)
- Deers total score
- Picture of you and your deer, atleast enough to show it's not a mount. Picture of the tag that was used.   (Don't show your personal information.  Mark that out if you have to in some way.)

Try to enter your harvest in the appropriate thread within (10) days.
