Our hero is dew busting at 7:23a Central off of 10's tee alongside Jason Day and Shigeki.  They'll be hitting into the group of Rose, Reed, and Beelzebub.

Beau Hossler's mom will be on the course at 6:35a.

I'll win a major before MA makes another sweet 16. And I don't even know where my clubs are.

It's going to be a sad day when he blows out something again because he is back on the juice.  And...I would bet that he is.  A 42 year old doesn't come back from not even being able to swing a club a few months ago to the second highest club head speed on tour...ahead of McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, Gary Woodland, Justin Thomas, Bubba, everyone but Keith Mitchell.  It just doesn't happen.

At his age what does he have to lose by going back on the juice? It isn't like the PGA does drug testing for performance enhancers anyway.

I like what was said about drug testing on tour when Tiger was in his prime.....test Tiger and if he's clean, the others don't matter.

Don't ever ask questions you don't really want to know what the answers are.  This has been my thought on the PGA tour.

That being said, I do not think Tiger is back on the juice.  He does not have anywhere near the mass he had when many speculate he was juicing.

I disagree. I would like to know if the PGA tour truly has dirty players just like all other pro sports. I think it would be naive to think the PGA is clean in that regard. I have no particular favorite pro golfer ever since the Shark retired from the tour and Arnie died so it won't bother me one iota to see a few of the idols get knocked off their lofty perches.

Besides......if a few of the long knockers get outed for using performance enhancing drugs it sure would make me few better about not being able to hit it 300 yards like  they do.

I really doubt that roids help you putt or have touch inside of 100 yards. You think Phil is on juice? I guess any reason to hate on Woods is good enough for some of you. Get real.

Mickelson is 68th on tour in club head speed.  Tiger, a few months into being able to take full swings again, is second.  At 42.  At his age he can generate more club head speed than Dustin Johnson and Tony Finau.

Yeah, seems reasonable.

Not at all an accurate statement.  Tiger just swung harder in a tournament.   Doesn't mean he physically can swing harder or DJ cant

It means that over the course of the season so far Tiger's club is traveling faster than anyone on tour but one unknown.  You don't think Rory, Dustin, Justin, Finau, and Woodland ever take a rip?

EastexHawg

If the hit it to 50 feet and occasionally make a bomb strategy works Tiger will win this one going away.

It's funny seeing Tiger groupies talk about other people having boners for him.

Unfortunately for them the leaders will get to play the easy par five 12th and some of the other holes Tiger has birdied, too.

Can't wait to see the ratings for this tournament. 20 years later and Tiger is still the man.

Frankly speaking....there are just as many in here that have boners FOR Woods as there are ones that have boners against him. You've already had a couple posting on this thread that say he is the ONLY reason they are even watching golf the past couple weekends. To me that is just sad. If you are a true golf fan and it is on then you watch the tourney. If you only watch based on who is playing then in my book you are not a golf fan. You're just a fan of a particular person.

But.......just my opinion of course.

The tired "true golf fans" argument. Tiger is one of the top 2 players EVER. There are golf fans that want to see some of that greatness again before it goes away. If you can't get why people tune in for Tiger instead of Taylor Gooch, I can't help you.
