Going to Navarre Beach just between Pensacola and Ft Walton. Not as well developed, so it is not as crowded(I hope). Still can go into Destin and Pensacola for big stuff. A condo, a beach and a family, all a guy needs.
Sittin in the morning sun, I'll be sittin here when evening comes.

skipping summer vacation and going on my honeymoon to St. Lucia in January.

Most of my time will be spent in Toronto and the surrounding area.

I do a            lot of hiking and camping just outside and north of the city.

I will be going to Nova Scotia to help some friends move down there in July.

Hoping to get to Arkansas before too long and enjoy a tailgate with my hogville friends. :D

And there is also my yearly Europe trip that will happen sometime before the end of the year.

Maybe in the summer, I have not decided as yet.

I am up for travel at anytime so I could end up anywhere really.

Charleston SC, Myrtle Beach SC and probably Florida sometime when the next Hurricane arrives.

We are going to Destin again this year.  Last year, the kids loved the beach and Big Kahunas water park.  The only thing we didn't like was we were at the same beach where the 14 yr old girl was attacked by a shark and died.  My daughter was 14 at the time and she was scared for a little while.  3 weeks later we watched the story about it on tv, that was tooooo fast for tv!

Yes, we do.  Probably would be a good place to learn about what deals are out there.

This summer:  Belfast, York, London, Bern, Basil, Zurich,  and hopefully Florence.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Either Bald Knob or Conway

I'd vote Bald Knob...  Those Conway types are SO snootie and high falutin...   :)

WindyCityHog

I'm spending two beautiful weeks  in a cabin (that I am part-owner of) in Northern Wisconsin out in the middle of no where.

The first week, the wife and kids join me and some other friends......swimming, fishing, and a great Izaak Walton Lodge.....NO SHOPPING ;)

The 2nd week...just the boys....

Bass fishing (mostly smallie) in the day....walleye at night...plus the drinking of course....

End of June thru the 4th of July....

I'll post some pics here and in the Hunting and Fishing forum.

takin the family to Destin Fl. for a week

hoggystyle78

Going to the redneck riviera, Gulf Shores, for one week with the family in June, we have a condo on the beach, good times.

PorcineSublime

Looks like we are all tearing up the Redneck Riviera. Nice family places and not so expensive that normal people can't afford it. Rented a condo because it was almost as cheap as a hotel and it is on the beach. Has kitchen and W/D. Plan on sipping on some of my Merlot and White Merlot I made this winter. Good times.
Sittin in the morning sun, I'll be sittin here when evening comes.

proffitthog

Destin is great, we've been vacationing there the last seven years, the  best condo is The Inn at Crystal Beach, but it is not cheap. The cheapest condo that is on the beach is the Cabana club condo not the nicest but it is directly on the beach. Some other good one's for the money are the Grand Caribbean, and Majestic Sun. This year we are taking a break from Destin and going on a cruise to Jamaica, Caymen islands and Couzumel on Royal Caribbean Rapsody of the Sea's. Anyone who has been on this cruise please tell me the does and donts. Suggestions on getting Cuban cigars back with out getting caught.

qakhed

We are going to San Antonio for a week. We plan on renting a car there and going to Padre Island for a day or two.

San Antonio is pretty cool. Great food on every corner. Lots of three hundred year old buildings. Stuff for the kiddies as well. You will have good times indeed.

I haven't done the cruise but I did go to jamaica when I was younger. I remember not liking the cities very much at all. But if you get out and explore the jungle area it was amazing. The thing I remember most was climbing the waterfalls. Definitely check that out.

right now it looks like it is just the four of us (two boys 7 and 12), she was talking however, of having her parents come to. I have been there a few times, her and the boys have never been, and are very excited about. We are staying at the Hyatt which is right on the Riverwalk.

I did that very cruise on Mariner of the Seas out of Port Canaveral in '04.  Had a great time.  If you have kids, the dolphin thing in Cozumel is great.  Have a great time!
