Anyone flown a Van?

As in Van Aircraft.  Considering getting back into aircraft ownership with a personal, two person max fun craft. Want side by side, high or low, trike or tail but something that can go IFR.  Van's 7 looks like a worthy contender and I like the speed.

Any thoughts or other suggestions?
