If luck could be translated into a formula, the razorbacks were ranked #125 in luck, making them the unluckiest team in 2014. Florida State was the luckiest team in the last 17 years (since they began tracking this stat)

QuoteArkansas had some bad luck in 2014. After the Hogs' first loss of the year was a 45-21 defeat to Auburn, they went through the pain of three close losses (plus a fourth larger conference loss loss) before finally breaking their SEC losing streak by beating LSU. Not done, though, they also lost by a touchdown to Missouri to close the season. UK was the only other school more than one down (mostly) after withstanding gut punch losses in triple OT to Florida and by four to Louisville.

QuoteArkansas also rates as seriously unlucky here, what with it being last overall. An easy way to come up with an awful luck rating by this formula is to win by a lot when you win (73-7 over Nicholls State, 52-14 over NIU, 45-17 over UAB, 30-0 over Ole Miss) and lose by a little when you lose (see previous section).

Sounds about right to me.  I fully believe the ball will start bouncing our way next year.

We were VERY unlucky to lose to TAMU (two penalties bringing back closing out TD's), Bama (are you kidding me Kody??!!), and Mizzou (screw you stinking replay officials!!).

I didn't need this to tell you Mizzou was the luckiest.
Quote from: MaconBacon on March 22, 2018, 10:30:04 amWe had a good run in the 90's and one NC and now the whole state still laments that we are a top seed program and have kids standing in line to come to good ole Arkansas.  We're just a flash in the pan boys.

Luck can be a mental thing and we broke through winning 3 of last 4 in dominant fashion.  Mizzou did get lucky in that BA was hurt and there were some "philosophical" differences between HC and OC on backup plan.  We will see which way the ball bounces in 2015.  I think it will be quite favorable.
Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

We made some of our own bad luck early in the season.

When we stopped shooting ourselves in the foot, we won.

What I don't get on that Mizzou game it was just the week before cbb was saying how the 2 qbs grew up in the same house and AA should be fine, he had to learn from BA, so thats why he put him in. So why not do the same in the Mizzou game? I guess that's where the difference of opinion came from.
