Does he have an offer and if not do you see him getting one?  Surely if Dillon Stoner had an offer we are going to offer this kid after dropping a 4.37 at 6-3 207.  He has almost a dozen major offers and is a 4 star on multiple sites

Offers and measureables, although very impressive, do not always measure a recruit's commonality.

He tweeted a picture of himself standing on our field today if that means anything.

That's a good sign. I wouldn't mind this kid getting an offer if he is truly uncommon along with those pretty unbelievable measureables. We have shown a willingness to get length in the secondary. He is at a nice spot of being able to grow into a linebacker so that makes him versatile which I'm sure our staff is mulling over right about now. I don't recall us recruiting many safeties outside of Stoner, so this guy probably has a good shot at an offer. RD mentioned in his camp updates that it would not surprise him if Mr. Simmons was extended an offer. So we shall see.

PaintballHog

247 has him at our camp today, if he is SEC talent and a good kid he will get an offer.

6' 3".....4.37 40 has AA WR written all over it

Would have been a great time to have Atwater and Kennedy in town teaching safeties at camp. Is that legal? If so I would be all over this if I were CBB...

I'm disgusted, but kinda excited. Now I'm disgusted that I'm excited.

I saw on his tweets at the bottom of the 24/7 profile page that he was a back to back state long jump champion! So this guy is definitely athletically capable of big things. Arkansas is the best at track; just seems like a natural fit. I'll be rooting for him to become a hog!

If he can catch.

I watch some video of him. He showed he could hit, catch and run the ball. At 6-3 4.37 I am going to leave him at safety not many of them around

The size of a safety, the speed of a corner.  Gotta love it.

jackflash

If he came and played safety did well. Would be a lot of money for him in the NFL

The Recruiting Guy

He's supposed to call Pittman tomorrow. Might know something then.

I wonder if some of these guys are in wait in see mode with an offer with 11 commits. Leaves us with 7 to 11 spots.

Good place to be when you're not flipping out trying to get a kid an offer as fast as you can... Another thought might be that he has a lot of home state pressure and wants to commit now, but CBB has to meet mom and dad first. There's no need to rush during dead period either...

I'm guessing he never received an offer?

Just realized this kid signed with national runner up Clemson .  I am more then happy with micahh smith, but curious as to what our staff didn't see in Simmons that so many major programs did see in Simmons and what they saw in Smith that no other P5 staff saw

Not sure anyone on here could honestly tell you Jack. However, I'm almost positive that if you call CBB or any of the staff they could probably answer your question. BTW why not get back to us on that once you find out? I'm sure we're all just dying to know.
