This is going to be the biggest game of the Bielema era, and it's a true neutral site where both sides can fill it up on a given Saturday. This is a big opportunity for Hog fans to step to the plate and give this team a really meaningful home field advantage with more Razorback Red than maroon. :razorback: :razorback: :razorback:

Assuming A&M can win against Auburn...

(Which it looks promising that they can right now, but not guaranteed)

go hogues

The last few years the crowds have dwindled. Almost completely empty upper decks on both sides. However, it still usually remains a 50/50 split.

Most definitely...I hope that this week brings a huge showing

Even if aTm loses I think you can still make the case that it's the biggest, especially given our recent history with them. Every next opportunity this season is at this point.

Tickets are too high for the game.  Plus you add in hotel, gas, meals.  Much cheaper to watch on TV.

I totally get it. I also get the people who will tell me I better be going to the game for saying this and I'm not, and I get that too. I just hope Razorback fans come up big .

I agree with this.

I am going to the game. Flying from South Florida. I'm a member of RF but I didn't go through the ticket office for tickets because I didn't want to sit so high up. I bought tickets elsewhere but paid double for them. I'm okay w that to get good seats, but dang this game really is expensive even through the ticket office.

Beantown Razahback

Definitely is. That's paying for Jerry World I'm sure.

I'm going. I'm excited. 2 years in a row.

I've not missed any of the A&M/UA games at Jerry's, but might eat my ticket this year due to my 7-yr old son's football game. Decisions.

bleedhogred

My first year going, but have had season tickets for years. I came upon a great opportunity for tickets at face value 3rd row behind the hog bench 35 yardline! but even at face value 225 a ticket but beats the 5 to 6 hundo at ticket sites! Gonna be a great game and sure hoping for a big win then play sisters of the poor, then maybe game day in Fayetteville?

Went to games during BP edited years. Going this year and I'm looking forward to it. As far as cost, yes tickets, adult beverages, food and everything else is expensive. I look at it as cost of having the Jerry's World experience.

I'm going for the first time this year.  In years past, does stubhub or any of the other sites drop prices in the last 24 hours ?

Two years ago I bought tickets at the game for 90 each I believe.  They were nosebleed in the a&m section so I stood in an area behind the end zone. It was a good view

Billion dollar stadium. But I agree it's a pretty penny to attend this one.

If Jerrah were a true Razorback, he would charge A&M fans twice as much as Hog fans for the tickets.

BTW, we will be there.  Third consecutive year.

hogsbeattexas

I have a feeling we are going to be very outnumbered.  I have been to every game we've played in Jerry World, and we travel well.  But we still have a LOT of tickets available for purchase this year and it looks like A&M is nearly sold out (I checked their site).  Hopefully I am wrong.

Go to your kids game.  He will remember.  Plus the Razorbacks will be playing football long after your son has hung up his cleats.

I think it stupid that a 7 year old has a football game period!  Whats wrong with our society these days, have we lost all common sense?  At 7 their skulls are still like egg shells, all it takes is one good placed hit and your kid is damaged for life!  No wonder our kids act crazy in their teen years and do things we never did 30 years ago, their brains are mangled from crashing heads together under the age of 12-13 before their skulls have grown and thickened up!  My advice, take your kid off the team and dont let him play again until Junior high football.   Take your kid to the Ark aTm game, neither of you will forget that!

Tell us how you feel about youth football. :-)

Maybe, it's flag football. Of course, that will bring another set of complainers out claiming that we are watering down "real American football."

No, I love football and there is an age where a kid is developed enough and ready to play week in and week out.  Under the age of 12 should not be acceptable.   Its our society, I understand its how we think.   I played every sport known to man but I would have never allowed my son at the age of 7 to play a vicious contact sport.  Besides, if the truth came out, we'd find that 90% of the kids dont want to play sports so seriously below the age of 12.  Its their parents that force it on them.

I actually agree with you on contact football before junior high school for a few reasons:

(1) There are no techniques that are learned before junior high that will impact a future fb player's career.
(2) While good-hearted in most cases, youth football coaches are typically not competent in training safe tackling techniques or correcting poor techniques.
(3) There can be tremendous size differences at these ages. Contact football at this early age can turn a small, late blooming great athlete into a kid that never plays football past 2nd grade because of a hit at age 10 by another kid that weighs (literally) twice as much as the same age.

And that is all I'm saying...lol  You nailed it.   Many of the unqualified coaches at that level dont have any business smashing kids heads together.
