Why all the piling on Brandon because he apparently won the fight?
And I'm not buying we won't miss Whaley if he can't play - even if he hasn't been running that well, he'll be missed in pass protection.
Tempers flare sometimes, Brandon probably didn't actually mean to break Whaley's jaw (if true).

I have never gotten into a fight and never had my jaw broken, and I never saw any playing time on the football field. So if he got into a fight AND his jaw is broken, I can't imagine him ever seeing the field again.

I didn't say Whaley deserved it - I said Brandon doesn't deserve all the negative comments without even knowing what happened. He apparently won the fight, doesn't mean he started it or meant to really hurt Whaley.

As a Seahawks fan, we have a few fight every year, but no one has ever been injured this badly. 

Without more information it's hard to know what happened.  Whaley is our best back on paper but maybe hasn't been so on the field.  I don't see this changing things for us that much.  Would take effort to play worse at this point.
