Won't be Santos, it'll be Coley. Maybe Liddell moves to the other side, but Gaines will start again.

You can't roll heads anymore at safety, hence the reason Gains isn't playing in the first half Saturday

Amazing how we all considered the secondary to be this defense's achilles heel, but they have played extremely well down the stretch and Rohan Gaines has really stepped it up. We may be missing him in the 1st half of the Ole Miss game.

I've seen some epic fails on Hogville throughout the years, however, this ranks right up in the top 20 of 'em... EVAR.

This year's team is NOTHING like last year's team. Or have you not been paying attention?

You cannot legitimately compare ANY game this year (except MAYBE the second half of the Auburn game and part of the UGA game) to last year.

Talked to Clay Jennings yesterday. He was encouraged by the way Liddell stepped up after a rough first few plays.

They're hopeful that he'll play well on Saturday but they will be glad to have Gaines back for the 2nd half.

Im glad we have good young talent who can step in.  But saying that we will not miss Rohan Gaines in the secondary against Ole Miss, who by the way is a much better passing team than LSU, because the guy gave up big plays LAST year is not a very intelligent statement.

I have blamed our safety's several time because of other teams ability to complete deep passes easily on us. I have done so because listening to Hogville posters claim we were in a cover two ( safety's responsible for the two deep zones). This year I have discovered that on occasion we were playing a cover 3.
One Corner responsible for a deep zone. I have to wonder how many times I have erroneously blamed a safety. At this point it doesn't matter because the secondary is playing better overall than they have for some time now.
I do think it is the safety's responsibility to remind a freshman what his coverage is, especially if the safety is an upperclassman. They need to call out their coverage and communicate better.
