Staying humble is a good approach to everything.  Yesterdays game should humble them.  Losing a game of frustration should help them prepare for conference games
I'm surprised at the lack of offensive production since several of the players did very well in the summer leagues facing probably a lot of these same players.

Hog bats are making contact.  Just not finding the gaps.
Hopefully we will see the hogs at their best in the next couple of games

Baseball is a lot like business.  You will make mistakes in business if you have enough business.  Its how you handle those mistakes that determines how good your business is.  I just bragged on DVH yesterday for winning against AZ and pulling the correct strings.  One day Chicken, the next day Feathers.  We still got tomorrow.
