2014 Sugar Bowl OU 45 Bama 31

So I guess that's the 2013 season.

Correct.  Not 2014
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

??  Not sure what you mean.  So this loss by Bama is because they missed Kiffin?  I don't think most would agree with that.
read your paper/internet/watch M&M in the morning,  ESPN PERIOD, blah blah blah. You challenged me and you lost. Lol
I applaud your efforts but Clemmons OCTOBER was there all year and Bama ran there's off for Sarkozy and lost with stats WELL BELOW THEIR AVERAGE.

One thing is for sure.  Ole Nick will be raising hell with the SEC officiating review committee tomorrow morning!  Those refs will never work in the SEC again!   >:(
No argument.. tonight's crew was from Big 12.

Clemson isn't Arkansas, by a long shot.    The road to get to that level, is *long*.

Yep - I told my daughter tonight if Arkansas ever played in the NC a friend and I had made a pact we would go to the game no matter where or when / my daughter laughed and said my friend and I would be dead by the time that happened. She's probably right.

Yep, easy to coach when you have the best players at every position including your 2 deep. In reality he should never lose.
Quote from: mckinneyhog5 on April 07, 2019, 10:29:55 pmGuys, we have hired the BEST coach that we could have hired. Musselman is gonna rock it here like we haven't seen since the early 90's. Just sit back and watch it unfold! We WILL be a nationally recognized program again soon.

Sark called a good game. Had nothing to do with him. The freshman QB not making things happen and playing efficient cost them the game.

Agree. Sark did fine. Hurts was fantastic when he ran. But he threw for only 130 yards, and missed some big passes, including a wide-open TD bomb. His legs couldn't make up for what his arm couldn't do.

But Clemson had to go and get it. Watson was money as were his 2 WRs on that last drive. Wow.

This game sure was worth my cable bill.

Bama regularly manhandles receivers at the line of scrimmage.  Clemson used that to their advantage.  If you constantly grab receivers, what are they supposed to do?  Run sideways or back up so you can have position?

It's funny having Alabama complain about contact between a defender and receiver at the line of scrimmage.

Clemson wins the turnover battle and hangs on late in another thriller 37- 33.

At least the margin and thriller was right, lol.

Fantastic statement on the SEC Network.

B..b..but it's Sark's fault!!  Such an obvious drop off from the game Kiffin called against Washington!

No. It is why the wr put his right arm over the db and tackled him
If satan doesn't teach his DB's to grab pull jerk hug and hold all the way down the field, that play doesn't work. The db was so busy doing what he is coached to do he never realized he was picking himself and his own team mate out of the play. And since its not SEC officials satan didn't get the benefit of the doubt. One thing about B12 officials, they know what a passing game looks like lol

wildhogman

For me, the best part of the whole game was the last KO. Irony? poetic justice? a slap in satan's face? Yup to all of the above.  Priceless.

You are addressing a different play than one we were discussing.  Go back and read if you want to jump into the conversation.

College football won last night. Granted, it won't help Arkansas one bit, but at least the playing field is back to even for the teams with a shot. Clemson peeked behind the curtain and now everyone knows there's just a man back there and not a mythical figure.

Doesn't matter.  It will still be the same.  Bama's DBs play physical and that's why there weren't calls for Offensive PI.  Especially on the last play.  Had the Bama player not grabbed him by the back of the jersey and pulled him down, maybe he'd get the call.  Can't have it both ways.
