The False Hope of Weakening Opposition

I think the hope of weakening opponents is a bad mindset for the Hogs. For instance USC is losing a lot of players so we are going to win, or in basketball Miss.St. has lost the 2 best players on their team so we can just coast in to Starkville and come back with a win. The Hogs need to expect opposition to be at absolute best every game.
