Lots of talk about McGuffie on here a few weeks ago.  Not sure what our chances are with him, but I don't believe they are very good.

yes he is unbelievable. He has interest in the hogs, but we dont believe it will be enough. He is most likely Michigan or A&M.

OK thanks.  He looks pretty explosive on the film and exciting as well.  Would love to have him.

some people believe us getting curtis kind of hurt our chances with him. some people dont believe that. I think that if we got both of them we would only be able to play one. well at RB anyway. i think they are more of a Felix replacement than a D-Mac. they are quick finesse players not bruisers. I would love for us to get McGuffie though. he looks really fast, has decent size, and unbelievable athletic ability.

I have to say, Sam's video on youtube is the most impressive thing I have seen from a high school athlete. From what I hear he will be a Wolverine.

He was mentioning the Hogs a lot a month or two ago and then he didn't say much about us after that.   His final 5 are USC, A&M, Michigan, Florida and Notre Dame.   He is going to commit this weekend, in all likelyhood to Michigan.

I can't understand why McGuffie would want to play in Lloyd Carr's offense?  His highlight reel is full of draws & delays, not Mich's style.  Imagine what he'd do in a spread scheme.  If he goes to Mich I bet Ohio St spends the next 4 yrs regretting the fact they didn't offer. He's worth the scholie just as a return specialist.

with the 5 schools he listed, I can't see Curtis commitment hurting us. He got to know they have running backs there already. I wish the young man the best just don't think we interest him.  As anyone one heard he doesn't like contact?

Never saw those other videos, but McGuffie's highlight is unreal.  Just wonder about his durability on the next level.
