35-7 Springdale at halftime.

Sounds familiar. Who's the QB for Fayetteville again?

They are playing 2, Nutt and McCutcheon(sp?)

TD Fayetteville after a 79 yd drive (mostly rushes).

I'm impressed.  I guess Fayetteville could win the state 6A title in Okie land.

Williams just made a 65 yd TD catch.

From Mitch?

Yep.  He actually threw it about 15 yards and Williams ran for the other 50.  Still counts as a 65 yd pass though.

I really wish Williams were coming to Arkansas.  Would've been nice...

Wouldn't it.  Those two guys are always on the same page.  It would be nice to have that kind of chemistry on the hill.  Just think how effective that would be for Markus Monk.

Score is 49-14 Springdale FYI.
Has Houston Nutt came up with an excuses why Fayetteville is getting pounded like a Hog by a Trojan?

Thank you all for keeping me informed.  Only request is some stats on Mitch if anyone has them available.

GrizzledHogFan

This is an estimate, but I think he had around 325 passing yards, 2 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs, and 1 INT.  Not exactly sure though.

Actually Sr. died last year(RIP-He was a wonderful person).
Fayetteville QB is Houston Nutt III

I think he threw all 3 of the Fayetteville INTs, but other than that, I'm not really sure.

His dad must be coaching him, he should buy him one of those Malzahn tapes.

If anyone listened to the live webcast...other than the bad sound quality....how was the broadcast?

The sound quality wasn't bad, it was terrible.  It was impossible to determine the quality of the other aspects of the broadcast because of this.

Could you make out much of what the guys were saying?

In the first half I could understand maybe 40% of what they said.  It seemed to improve in the second half, when I could understand about 75%.

What did you think of the commentary?  I'm asking cause I never get to hear it....I'm always at the games.  They seem like pretty good guys.
In the booth is Rick Scheaffer and Robert Farrell  (sp?)  Not sure who sideline guy is.  Farrell was a receiver for the Holtz hogs in the 70's.

It seemed fairly decent.  It was better than the Jenks commentary, anyway.
