NBA, Hornets tour LSU as possible site

It seems more and more likely that the New Orleans Hornets will need a different place to play this season, but where that will be and how many locations it could include isn't yet clear.
The Hornets' home venue, the New Orleans Arena, isn't habitable right now because of Hurricane Katrina and the flood waters that followed.

It  has actually been discussed, but first, Larry Crain, who owns the NBDL team for Alltel has exclusive rights to professional basketball and has to OK the deal. Then the NBA would have to sign off, and finally the area would have to show a propensity for even supporting it. It would be pretty embarrassing to be drawing 3,000 a game there.

It'd be great to be able to go to an NBA game in LR.

Thanks for the info.
