Beans and Ham bone today

Cleaned out the Pantry and used 3 left over bags of  beans and a Ham bone from Christmas! 

4 cups of water
Ham Bone
8 oz Navy beans
8 oz Pinto beans
8oz red kidney beans
bay leaf
salt
Cavernders Greek Seasons
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Bean are tough to beat.   Started using this cornbread with them and it doesn't get any better.
I need to be more like my dog...if you can't fight it, screw it, or eat it, then piss on it.

I seen it and I got to try it.  We got to eating Beans more cause of the no fuss prep plus they are cheap and filling.

You can make a helluva lot of beans and cornbread for $10.

Those crockpot liners like the one you're using are nice.  Always called them Crockpot Condoms.  ;)

EASY CLEAN UP! Plus once it cools you can pour the leftovers into the tupperware.
