In overtime against Buffalo, Western Michigan's Donnie Ernsberger scored a touchdown to match Buffalo's touchdown and his team was an extra point from tying the game.

But then Ernsberger's sister came running on the field to celebrate with her older brother. This of course drew a penalty, making the extra point more difficult.

Western Michigan was able to convert the kick and tie the game, which went on to SEVEN overtimes before Western Michigan pulled out a 71-68 win in what was the highest scoring game in NCAA history.
