Warning: Long Post

I was curious as to why we've seen such a huge difference between how our Hogs play at home and how they play on the road.

Things that stood out to me:

The biggest shooting percentage that stood out to me was the Free Throw percentage at home and on the road. Shooting
nearly 14% worse on the road while our opponents actually shoot nearly 1% better at Bud Walton. I have to think this comes
down to preparation and appears to be a mental issue more than anything.

The foul difference also was a red flag. Our opponents are drawing 6.3 more fouls per game than the Hogs on the road, while we
are only drawing 1.33 more at home. This leads to our opponents attempting on average 7.4 more free throws per game when we're on the road.
Some will attribute this to us not getting the same "home cooking" that the other teams get. I think it has to do more with our aggressiveness
on the road. Again, a mental issue to me.

Turnovers: Our defense doesn't appear to be as aggressive or successful in forcing turnovers on the road. We still win the turnover
margin on the road, but by almost 8 fewer turnovers per game. This results in fewer transition baskets.

I was expecting to find that our shooting percentages were much lower on the road. I was surprised to find that our opponents weren't
as bad as we are on the road when they came to Bud Walton. Our opponents decline in Field Goal percentage on the road was 1.6% less than
ours. Three point percentage decline was nearly 2% less than the Hogs.

All of this adds up to a pretty large scoring difference:
At Home the Hogs have won by an average of 12.11 points per game, while losing by an average of 13.2 points per game for a
difference of 25.3 points per game.

Looking forward to seeing other's thoughts.
