Why didn't we get the invite to that?
You  don't even have to be above .500, i.e. Oregon State (13-17)

This tournament is a pay to play.  You have to put up X amount of dollars if you want in.  I could see if a team had a losing record but came on strong at the end and was young that they might want some additional playing and practice time against other opponents to build toward the future.

Since we are not in that situation I think UofA would turn it down even if we had been invited.
Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.
