I think any sophomore we have that has a breakout year ends up having their birthday changed mid-season to become draft eligible. It seems like every year we have no idea they are draft eligible until they start doing great.

No doubt. I knew Benny and Z Cox were potentially 2 year players.

So the only signees we really need to worry about is Bonnin, Turney, and Tillo?

Not 100% sure. It all depends on signability.  We saw that last year with Blake Lillie who signed for only a little after being like a 21st round pick or something like.

For all we know, they all want 2+ M to sign or are just dead set on coming to campus.

Hey UCA - what about Dylan Thompson (Fresh LH P).  You see him being around or transferring out?

I have absolutely no idea about him. It probably depends on a numbers game, but in term of LHPs, he is going up against Murphy, Cronin, Lee, Rogers,  and Krull for people who are on campus and any signees we bring in like Tillo.  He does have a good frame at 6-3, 195 so maybe there is a future there.

What is your thinking at having Cole in the 7 hole while Lee is in the 2 hole?  Also, what is your thinking with Kopps on Sunday?  I think he has proven himself as an excellent reliever who can throw a couple of innings, but he struggled some on the second/third time through the order when hitters figured out his breaking ball.
