Started Insanity Monday.  So far, I like it.  It's working my tail off.  I really think I'm going to see just as much, if not more, results from the diet than the workout itself.

Anybody else have any experience with Insanity?

Ragnar Hogbrok

Yes, but meds helped.

Did P90X with good results, but haven't done Insanity.  Sorry.

Hogville prediction formula:

1.  Insert bad news prediction. A loss, a recruit going elsewhere, a coach leaving, etc.
2.  Tag "hope I'm wrong," on the end.
3a.  Enjoy a correct prediction.
3b.  Act like you're relieved you're wrong and celebrate with everyone else.

I lost 17 pounds doing a round of Insanity...The hardest workout I've ever done....Plus I was 52 years old...Just do as much as you can each day, it gets easier as you get in better shape.

So much pressure on the knees. It definitely works, just not my prefer

I finished it and got the T-shirt.

It kicks your tail and gets you in great shape. I am not sure that it is good for the body as a long term fitness program.

I'm on week 3.  Still going strong.  I like it a lot.

HOGWILD_F4I

I have completed two rounds...  First round lost about 21 pounds.. second round lost 11 pounds..

I've now been doing my own thing... mixing up the Insanity, P90X3, T25, and Insanity Asylum workouts about 3-4 times a week..

Down 44 pounds so far, since I started February 09, 2014

What kind of differences does p90x3 have from the original p90x?

HOGWILD_F4I

I've never gone through the original P90X.. so that I am unsure of..

I do know all of the P90X3 workouts are only 30 minutes

About to start week 6 of Insanity. Still going strong. Down 11 pounds.

Finished Insanity two weeks ago.  Lost 20 pounds and am in much better shape.  Started P90X Monday.  So far, so good.

Thanks! That's exactly how I feel about Insanity.  I'm planning on doing another round after I finish P90X.

Probably one of the worst workouts you will ever do when it comes to knee health.  Great cardio though, but really any HIIT is.

Loved Insanity, our unit used to do it for PT.  Just have to make sure you are doing it on a forgiving surface or it can lead to joint issues.
