The Michael Washington for SEC POTY Thread

Can anyone stop Michael Washington from becoming the SEC Player of the Year?

He has already earned SEC POTW twice.  He has shown up for ALL of the big games.

What say you?

he has shown up for the big games.....both of them....we have not even played a conference game yet and only like two road games against a couple directional schools (one we lost, one we needed a last second shot to win). As good as he is playing maybe we should wait till we actually play a few conference games (and maybe even a real road game) before handing out post season awards......

If Hogs win the SEC West, this should be a shoo in -- and Pel for Coach of the Year, and Fortson for Freshman of the Year.

However, the Hogs don't start play in the SEC until Saturday, so may be a bit early to be narrowing the list of candidates.

Michael Washington may have not huge numbers, but he definately deserves consideration for SEC POY for the simple fact we were preseason dead last in the SEC and now we have a chance a challenging for it. Courtney Fortson for all his brilliance is not the engine that runs this team, that distinction goes to Michael Washington.
