The Red Jacket...

was a great, great touch by Coach Pel.  I thought that was sweet.  I was at the game and haven't watched the replay.  What'd they say about it?  Can anyone post a picture?

They said the jacket wasn't bad by itself but the shirt and tie were horrible. They also made a funny comment about his hair.

You could look at this another way. Pel has has big sweaty Basket Balls swinging down there. Can you imagine if we had lost this game. He would still be getting clowned about that suit. Im for one think he believed that his team was gonna win. Otherwise he would be insane to get roasted on ESPN in that jacket.

Yeah.  I agree.  I see that it could have turned out in a negative way or perceived to be, however...

1) Just another good PR move and love by him to the fans
2) Eddie Sutton was in the house
3) Screw ESPN!!! (Not as though they have trashed one of our coaches before)

I need to get a red jacket like that and wear it to games.   Maybe this could become signature hog basketball attire--kinda like the houndstooth hat at 'bama games.
