The LSU game was enough for Gus. Houston Nutt tied his hands that game and it cost us a chance to beat LSU.  Gus did the right thing by leaving to Tulsa. Nutt is now out of college football for good because he was crooked and it finally caught up with him in Ole Miss. 

Had Gus stayed for 2007 he would eventually be knocked out of college football for good because Nutt would have tied his hands the entire year and then blamed the losses on him.  Gus gave Nutt an extra year at Arkansas.
