Seems like this would be an interesting hire. I have no idea how committed or obligated he is to Mich St, but I assume that he's roughly as viable as Gus.

SEC roots, Saban family tree, proven success at a mid tier program in a power conference. But maybe another B1G hire would be too unpalatable right now. Maybe he loses on style points or other intangibles.

Anyway, we've got a couple weeks to kill.. what do y'all think?

If we are going to start calling out crazy suggestions than what about Jeff Monken. He comes from a family of good coaches and has Army 8-2 this year.
