Going to Lake Ouachita in a couple weeks

Any of you guys been out there lately? Just curious as to what the lake level is, and if the bass have started moving up yet?

Hope you hook into a 50 plus striper and the beast darn near yanks ya out of the boat.

I had that happen once on Greeson, not really sure how big the striper actually was, it hit right at the boat with only about 8 feet of line out, sure thought I was going swimming that morning, but it hit so hard it straightened out the hooks on my rogue.  Don't know how it kept from just breaking my line, like hooking into a runaway beer truck

I can still see the swirl of the fish when it hit......awesome stuff.

I have a feeling I might hit a couple of them. I'll be throwing my umbrella rig if I can't find any spawning fish, and those stripers will destroy one of those.
