I just saw that Enos was just named QB coach at Alabama. Any one else ?

Haters gonna hate

HOGINTENNESSEE

Smith WR coach at UK

Rhoads DB coach UCLA

Enos QB coach Bama

Lunney and Scott still here

Hargreaves LB coach at Mizz

Chad Walker and Kurt Anderson still looking

Reggie Mitchell Texas El Paso

Porknoxville

Unfortunately Anderson will be waiting a while unless he takes a position at a small college.
He proceed to be one of the worst assistant coaches to come through UA in a long time.

He could probably land an Asst Oline coach job again

Well, Enos did pretty good for himself.  If he can handle Saban that is.

Anderson may get a position with Harp's Bakery. Only hold up is loss prevention has to sign off on the hire
Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

I read somewhere that they have history from Michigan St.  still a little surprised he left Michigan as that was his part of the country.

Segrest landed at University of Louisiana as Defensive Line coach.

QuoteDuring his time with the Razorbacks, Enos had two quarterbacks throw for more than 3,000 yards and multiple players taken in the NFL draft.

Now ESPN gives him credit.

Enos to Bama, Herbert to Michigan.

According to the HV collective genius these guys couldn't coach.

Waiting for KA to land somewhere surprising and excuses flow like water.
I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. He was WR coach. But he had a clause in his contract for a pay raise if OC was added to his title.

He wasn't the OC at Michigan yet, but an Offensive Assistant.

Enos signed a contract with Michigan on Dec. 15 that made him the wide receivers coach at a starting base salary of $150,000. If "coordinator" was ever added to his title, the contract stipulates, Enos' pay would balloon to $750,000 a year.

That stipulation was contingent on an additional departure from the Michigan coaching staff, say offensive coordinator Tim Drevno or passing-game coordinator Pep Hamilton, which has not happened.

Saban always has an OC, and a spare.  Good pickup on his part.  I know people complained, but offense wasn't our problem.  We could score 40 points, and still lose.  This is a good hire for Enos and Saban.  Strengthens Sabans O, and fast track for Enos.

or get beat 56-3 and blame the defense  ::) There was plenty of blame to go around. That being said I think Enos was a great OC that was held back by Bielema and its very telling that almost everyone from Bielemas staff has power 5 jobs and hes "unemployed"

Hogs have hit a wall at the wrong time of the season.  I will go on record now and say they may not even get out of their regional.  The hitting has been carrying them with a few good pitching outings but they just don't have the reliable pitching they need to get back to the CWS.

Kiffin comes to mind.  Perhaps fast track as OC at a top program.  Perhaps as HC of another program.  It all depends, really.  Success as a Saban assistant looks good on a resume' though.

OC to QB coach is a HUGE drop off.

The offense played a huge role in several of the meltdowns

I think it was assumed that Enos was going to be the OC at Michigan, I didn't see it expressly stated but I may have missed it.  He is the QB coach and associate HC at Alabama, that is a pretty big deal. It seems likely that he will be in line to be the OC there at some point if all goes well.

How much of the play calling / meltdowns were a result of Beilema running interference? I'm not sure either one of the coordinators had control over what they wanted to do.

Kiffin seems to be doing pretty good after having failures early in his career and then spending a few years learning from Saban.

HeathWimp

Bert's staffs never impressed me.  Despite many people defending his hires, the only ones who have done anything since leaving are Pittman and Chaney.  Simple fact is that Bert did not hire great coaches for the most part, and that is why most of them are taking "lesser" jobs than they had here.  I knew Bert was hopeless when he hired Segrest from Samford.
11/19/2023:  Keeping my original semi-prophetic, apocalyptic signature below.  We continue to regret passing on Norvell, who is in the running for the Playoffs.  We continue regret passing on Kiffin, who is eyeing a New Years 6 game.  Heck, we regret passing on Drinkwitz (he may be a dork, but he will have his team in a New Years 6 game after they truck us on Black Friday).

Meanwhile, Sam is drinking Pittman, wondering if he has the leverage to re-hire Enos, Sexton is doing the triple Lindy into his Olympic-size pool full of cash, and thousands of hog fans are planning to dress up as empty seats for next year's Halloween game.

11/25/2018:  My original "Chad Morris" signature is below.  I'm modifying my view as follows:  We will continue to regret passing on Norvell and Kiffin.   After 3 years, when Morris is 10-26, we are going to be saying "What were we thinking?  Even Bert was better than this!"
