Let me get this straight, so far...

I was so excited for this year.  This was setting up to be perfect.  Then the whole Petrino saga happened... and I was disappointed as I could be... but after a few months, I pulled together and bought into some of this crap that was being sold about the players pulling together, John L Smith being the right fit to save this season, Paul Petrino being ready to solely take on play calling duties, Heisman candidates, and so on and so forth... I was very excited to get the season started... but since the start of the season 2 weeks ago, this is what has occurred:

Tyler fumbles on the first drive, they scoop
Our Defense gives up 24 to Jacksonville State
Keiro Small breaks foot
Tyler Wilson knocked out of ULM game
Best corner back seriously injured, don't know when/if he'll return (prayers for Tevin)
Another blocker/goal line back goes down with leg injury in Kody Walker
We let a Sun Belt QB complete over 40 passes in ONE game
We lose to ULM, a program that was 0-22 against ranked opponents
We go from #8 to probably out of the top 25
Tyler, Knile, and Cobi all 3 have struggles in the first 2 games

All of this happens in less than 2 weeks.  It's just hard not to believe that Arkansas isn't snake bit... this is bizarre... hope we can pick ourselves off the floor and turn this thing around quick.
