I have used charitynavigator to look at the most efficient charities to donate to but I wanted to hear from people on this board with their experiences in donating. I am specifically looking at International charities with a focus on children. Any experience or advice would be more than welcome either in this thread or via PM.

I thank you.

The fact that you can type the words doesn't stop the thought behind those words from being horseshit.

A good one that stays local is the Arkansas Children's Hospital "Kampaign for Kids".  Their big drive is going on right now.  I'm sure you can find information on their website www.archildrens.org.  If you need more info let me know.

Stick with your local charities. Less overhead, more to the kids!
