My hope is the Hogs have been listening and heard how many references have been made to the advantage of getting to face the Hogs vs. Bama in round 1. If that doesn't get them fired up, nothing will.

Get past Florida and you could get Auburn and Ole Miss to get to the finals. I know it is a longshot looking at the record, but the opportunity is there if they really want it and play as a team.

Our path will be directly back to BWA after we lose to Florida.

No point in mapping anything else out.

We havent beaten Florida, Auburn or Tenn this year. I'm ready for a new coach.

thirtythree

I'm ready for all the negative people's computers to blow up. ;D

And we're ready for a new coach. Both of which probably won't happen, so let's keep arguing on message boards to pass the time away.

I have never been called negative before. In fact those who know me know I am very optimistic. Friend I want to fire Pel because he isnt a good coach. Not because I am a pessimist.

Expecting a coach to win with  a makeshift team is ridiculous. At least let the man get a team fill of his players before demanding he be fired.

Gotta be able to recruit to get your own players....

otherwise you're playing with other peoples left overs.
You must be smokin somethin if you think I ain't smokin nothin

We can't beat Auburn. UF and UT, maybe. Yes, I'm serious.

vandybuff

I think this is accurate as to seedings

E1 - Tennessee @
E2 - South Carolina @ ^
E3 - Winner of Florida vs. Kentucky
E4 - Loser of Florida vs. Kentucky
E5 - Vanderbilt $
E6 - Georgia

W1 - LSU
W2 - Auburn ~
W3 - Winner of Mississippi vs. Mississippi State #
W4 - Alabama or Mississippi or Mississippi State # *
W5 - Alabama or Mississippi *
W6 - Arkansas

@ If South Carolina wins and Tennessee loses, they tie for 1st. Tennessee wins tiebreaker by virtue of having swept South Carolina.

^ If Kentucky wins and South Carolina loses, they tie for 2nd. South Carolina wins tiebreaker by virtue of having swept Kentucky.

^ If Florida wins and South Carolina loses, they tie for 2nd. The teams split. The teams would have identical SEC-E records. Each team was swept by Tennessee. South Carolina swept #4 Kentucky, whereas Florida split with #4 Kentucky. South Carolina wins tiebreaker.

$ If Vanderbilt wins and Florida loses, they tie for 4th. Florida wins tiebreaker by virtue of having swept Vanderbilt.

$ If Vanderbilt wins and Kentucky loses, they tie for 4th. The teams split. Kentucky would have a better SEC-East record. Kentucky wins tiebreaker.

~ If Mississippi State wins and Auburn loses, they tie for 2nd. Auburn wins tiebreaker by virtue of having swept Mississippi State.

# If Mississippi beats Mississippi State, they tie for 3rd. Mississippi wins tiebreaker by virtue of having swept Mississippi State.

* If Alabama wins and Mississippi loses, they tie for 4th. Alabama wins tiebreaker by virtue of having swept Mississippi.

I think we match up with UF well.  After Calthes, they are pretty average.  Auburn is hot and this may be a problem.  Tennie has the height advantage.  Idk anything can happen I guess.

Did we not beat Oklahoma and Texas and how many games did we lose in the last couple of minutes? I think that proves its coaching

Looks like we only have to endure one more game this year.

Mr. Porkleone

Dont worry about any of these games:

WE LOSE BIGTIME TO FLORIDA

Our day has passed. We are not a big time BB school. A bigtime program has a down year or 2 and rebounds. We have sunk into the ocean!

Seems like a long way to have to go to play an SEC tournament.  This is the miles from each campus to Tampa and to Memphis.

         Tampa   Memphis
Fayetteville      1156      319
Baton Rouge   713      389
Nashville      704      210
Knoxville      670      390
Starksville      694      174
Oxford      786      78
Tuscaloosa      612      237
Auburn      444      385
Gainsville      130      718
Athens      471      460
Columbia      488      600
Lexington      840      420
         7708      4380

I think we can do it.

Who cares about distance when you're deciding whether to go to Tampa or Memphis.
