I can't complain. I am Wing Flight Safety here in Kunsan. Heading to Seymour Johnson AFB, NC after this. It was my first base and hopefully my last.
If it turns, burns, banks or rolls, crew chiefs made it happen.

That 15 year retirement sounds sweet.  I'm unfortunately only half way to it and wouldn't be eligible if I was at 15 anyway.  It's a pretty good deal for any eligibles.

I feel ya.  Seems like they always act like they don't want you around and then when there are chances to get out you're the most valuable asset in the AF.  That's how it feels for us at least.

I would not want to ever be stationed in Vegas.  Hawaii I could live with for a couple of years but would rather just visit.

I really can't complain about being stationed in Little Rock and getting to fly.  But they really need to get this 'Pacific Pivot' national strategy moving a little faster so I can start my 4 month rotations to random islands in the South Pacific.

Headed there in June.  Can't say we are looking forward to it, but we will make the best of it.  I have been in USAFE since '99, so the culture shock is going to be big time.

Finished my last deployment at Ali Al Salem in early 2014.  Then returned to my home station and retired in early 2015. Gone to miss it, was a great 30 years.....

Enjoyed passing through Ali. Especially on the return journey. Only base I ever remember having a McDonalds.
