Today I was very disappointed to learn that Game On is no longer aired in NWA. I always planned my lunch hour to coincide with Game On (we only got the noon hour in NWA, but that's when Mike Irwin joined in so I figure that was the best hour of the show).

I hope someone picks it up soon. It's a great show!

The Boar War

Thats too bad.  That hour is the best sports talk segment of the day.  If its possible you can still listen on tune in.

Mr. Porkleone

Man I looking all over the dial for that. It's a awesome show

Dwight_K_Shrute

Just stream it on your computer or phone.  933thescource.com or find it on tune in.  If you do not have the ability to stream you're old.
Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

How I feel in Central Arkansas now that Tommy and Derek aren't on  The Source (Jock?).  Now we have a guy with a fake radio voice and seems like all they talk about is baseball and Texas sports.

Tune In for sure.  I listen every morning and afternoon in NEA.

But that morning guy, Jimmy B or something like that, sounds like a 70's porn star trying to go legitimate in the radio biz.

122 ranked defense after 3 years.  We have no [CENSORED] shot whatsoever, and to say we do is delusional man.  If he was anything more than a great OC, his defense would have improved.  He's no head coach.

933thejock.com is the new Web site. Working on other Fayetteville outlets. But on tune in, search for kksp. Mike does a mean national anthem, see what you miss out on ;)

Not having Mike on here in NWA sucks.  Wes Moore and Michael Smith are great too.

Somehow they managed to make a show worse than "the show with no name".

I was thinking I was the only one creeped out by the fake radio voice.  And then when one cracks what he thinks is a funny joke,  They all laugh with the weirdest fake laughs I have ever heard.

That's not true.  I'm old and use the Tune In app.

They ring it way more often than that.

Add me to the list of people not impressed with the new morning show on THE JOCK. Radio voice and know it all attitude does not make a good show. Honestly, I am not that impressed with any of the morning shows in central Arkansas.

It's awful.

This morning, they played Mike Anderson's press conference from last night, and then they say that they have no idea what any of it meant, and started attempting to make jokes about some of Mike's wording.  They should be embarrassed, ashamed, something...

I appreciate those of you who listen to Game On. Hopefully we'll be up and running in NWA on another station soon.

I've worked on three different shows over the years. Press Row in NWA with a variety of hosts from 2000 to 2007. I was forced off the air for a couple of years by my TV boss at the time who was under pressure from the Nuttzis'.

I came back in 2009 on the Shawn and Wally show. When Shawn left I signed on with Game On.

I had worked with Wess Moore for years when he was at KTHV. KFSM and KTHV had trade out agreements. Wess is more like Paul Eells in personality than anybody I know in the TV business. He's easy going and honest. Truly a nice guy.

Michael Smith has been a pleasure to work with. When I first came on the show he asked me what I thought his role should be. I told him that he had something the rest of us didn't. All the things we talk about every day, he'd been there and done that.
Do the show from that angle. Tells us when we're full of it when we talk about player related issues.

I think he done a great job of that. Some of you have said he's too negative. Guess what? Players have opinions too. Sometimes like you, they have negative opinions.

I've learned a lot from him. His perspective on the Nutt-Petrino years has cleared up some questions I had especially where Gus Malzahn was concerned. Petrino too.

I started doing radio when I was a freshman in college. That was 47 years ago. I'm past retirement age and after working for five different radio stations and five television stations I've currently got two best jobs I've ever had. Not many people are that lucky.

I had a radio show for several years in college.  It was a blast.  I love radio.

Of the many quality local sports radio programs in our state, Game On is by far my favorite. You guys do a great job, in my not always humble opinion.

"Pressure release defense". They had no idea what that meant, which was fine. But they talked about it for 10 minutes straight. May have talked about it longer, but I changed the station.

Thanks. Hogville's the one-stop shop for all our Razorback needs.

Mike Irwin, you 3 guys have the perfect dynamic on the show. I don't think you could take any one of you out and replace them with someone else and it be as good.
