BB is the best at evaluating  unknown talent. Now comes the offers from LSU,BAMA,Georgia & Florida. Let's hope we are able to hang on to these guys. This is a very solid group of recruits so far.

I can't believe people are complaining, actually I can.  Arkansas could win a NC and some in here would still complain.  How many times has this staff offered a player before any other power 5, then a handful of SEC teams offer shortly after.  If you watch this kid's film and don't think this is a good pickup up then I don't know what to tell you.

I argued with several people on here when Jared Cornelius committed to the Hogs. They were certain he wasn't worth having b/c of his offer list.

Kid can straight fly! He a few plays on his tape where guys were ahead of him and had pure angles on him and he just flew past them. I like this pick up kid is just a football player. Bring him in redshirt him and figure out what position fits him best and if nothing else he could contibute in the return game and a gunner on punt and kickoff.

Watched hid Hudl video.  Pretty sure it was sped up because those people on the sidelines are walking and moving pretty damn fast.  Any rate, he still blows away the other kids in the video with ease.

It was sped up for some reason, but he clearly blows by some good competition. I would guess he doesn't have a lot of offers yet because he is playing out of position and doesn't have prototypical WR height. Looks like a good pick up to me, and possible punt returner as well.

Warren is a QB all the recruiting services list and project as a QB or Athlete. But he was recruited by Arkansas to play WR. Now who do you think performed a more thorough and accurate evaluation of him at WR, recruiting services or the Arkansas staff?

Was listening to Louisiana radio this afternoon and they were talking recruiting. Mostly LSU, but then began talking about Arkansas coming in and yet again getting another kid from their state. Went on to talk about DeVion saying we got a really good one.  The recruiting expert said he had not seen him live, but had watched his tape and was really impressed with his speed and quickness against top competition. Only downfall was not much tape of if he catch the ball consistently but no doubt he can move once he gets it. Said they fully expect other SEC offers to start coming in for this kid. Hope we hold on to him, going to a good one!

Here's his full results from the Opening, so, they are only 17 days old.

5'10 162 pounds
4.53 electronic forty (so translate that to 4.3-4.4 reported HS forty basically)
3.87 20 yard shuttle , only 5 players at the NFL combine had sub 4 second shuttles, with only one besting him with a 3.85. Of course, that person is also 4 inches and 40 pounds heavier
Kneeling power ball: 32", this was on the back half but not that far from average either
Vert: 34.1", that is a very good vertical. 40" is elite, 30" is what a WR should be able to always get.

Of course, he will likely need to put on another 20 pounds to really be able to play something other than return specialist. How he can perform with the added weight will be a factor. However, if he can put that on with minimal to no loss, then those are some really good numbers already.

This is a huge pickup! He is the type of player that gives bigger run stuffing defenses like us and Alabama fits. He reminds me of a Dexter McCluster/ Russel Hansbrough/ De'Quan Bowman type. He's something we have been missing for a while. I also think redshirt freshman Deon Stewart fits this mold and I can't wait to see what he can do on jet sweeps and returns.
