Yea, I'm starting to have some serious doubt with Segrest.

I'd take Missouri's DL or their DC to coach our line.  I don't know if Odom's a DL coach, but give him the co-DC title and see how well he and Smith can work together.

Maybe also get a dedicated special teams coach.

To get to a six point lead.  If we don't make it we are still up by 4, so they need more than a field goal to win.  At 6, the pressure is still on to make te extra point and they had already missed one.  That's what every coach in America would have done.

So simple a caveman could get it, sadly we have fans not up to that level of football IQ.

Maybe also get a dedicated special teams coach.

If that's what it takes.

I know Robb Smith and Hargreaves have also coached special teams in the past, so maybe they need to be more involved?  Also, our website lists Jemal Singleton as our ST coach and only credits Segrest with "Specialists", so maybe Singleton is the problem?  I always thought Segrest was our ST coach, but guess I was wrong about that.

To get a six point lead instead of five? What difference does that make? Good grief people. If we wouldn't have converted we would have been down three after they scored. Made no sense to go for two there. Stupid as hell.

Your argument is what is stupid. It made ABSOLUTE SENSE to go for two there!

If you don't make it, you are up by 4, make a PAT, you are up by 5. NO DIFFERENCE at that point of the game!!!

Besides, we DID make the two pointer to go up by 6. Moo U had just missed a PAT. If they score another TD and miss the PAT again you go to OT instead of lose in regulation.

What part of that do you not understand??? I have heard and read some asinine complaints, but this is one of, if not the dumbest!

WE MADE THE TWO POINT CONVERSION...

What I did not agree with is three straight runs to set up a FG on the last drive.

FG kicking has been shaky all season, we had one blocked two games ago and there would still have been almost 50 seconds for MOO U to get a FG of their own to regain the lead.

And our "defense" had forced ONE punt all night and had yielded almost 700 yards, thus a made FG would not have WON the game, it would only have given us a lead with a lot of time left.
