Alabama has an all-time record of 62-50 in SEC Tournament play and has won six SEC Tournament titles (1934, 82, 87, 89, 90, 91). The six tournament championships rank second in league history.

Before Alabama learned it was going to play Mississippi State on Thursday in the second round of the SEC tournament, junior swingman Riley Norris acknowledged the challenge that was in front of the Tide.

"Everybody knows in competitive sports beating a team three times in one year is tough," he said. "We just have to come in there focused."

This season, Alabama has defeated the Bulldogs twice. In its SEC opener, on Jan. 3, the Tide outlasted Mississippi State, 68-58, in Starkville. Then, later that month, Alabama beat the Bulldogs again, winning 71-62 at Coleman Coliseum. The third matchup will take place Thursday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, where the two teams will meet at 2:30 p.m. CST
