biggest position of need on the team. Super smart kid, excels in the classroom, too.

Fast, long , athletic at a SERIOUS position of need, DE/OLB. 6'7" 250lbs. Great against the screen game. Solid pass rusher, great run stopper.

Yes, we could certainly use some good news on the recruiting front.
So far, and I do realize the short amount of time, but we're losing ground, not gaining in recruiting. I thought that the only thing holding CCM back was SMU's high academic standards and them not being in a power conference?
As I said, I DO understand that it's only been a couple weeks, but CCM and his half-a-staff had better hope for a MUCH better February showing.

Fulwider is #79 in Georgia. Would be #7 in Arkansas.

As I said, I DO understand that it's only been a couple weeks, but CCM and his half-a-staff had better hope for a MUCH better February showing.

It doesn't help that he came from SMU.  While he knows everyone in TX, he likely didn't actively recruit many of the types of TX players to SMU that he needs at UA.  Therefore, I expect that his relationship with these kids is already pretty limited.  I'd don't expect February to bring significantly better results.  Maybe we'll hold onto many of those still committed, but I don't expect many surprises.

2019 will be the first real and fair test for CM.  A year that may also provide him with a banner instate crop.  He better take full advantage of that and a full year to recruit TX.

What's the info on this kid?

He's the real deal as far as I'm concerned. 6'7" DE with a frame for more strength (notice I didn't say put on bulky weight). He wants to be an engineer and GaTech was up there for the longest time before he committed to NC (when it was obvious CBB was in trouble and likely to be fired). He's always been very professional and polite in all settings except on the field. There he's a beast.

I'm holding out hope he signs with the Hogs.

Yeah because most who are 6'7" and athletic play basketball. This kid could put 50 on and play inside especially since he doesn't seem to be a pass rush specialist.

I had mentioned in a post a few days ago, that he was gonna be a Hog.  At least from what I'd heard. Then his Twitter is now void of all UNC stuff.  We'll see, but I heard he's a Hog. Which is great! Kid is gonna be a stud.  Also looks like what I heard about BoHannon was true as well that he wasn't coming.  But we'll be ok.

There are exceptions to every rule, but this kid weighs 250lbs. Not the 335 of Henderson or the 350 Haynesworth was.  Plus he is only 17 or 18, there is a chance this kid is going to grow another inch or two.  The leverage the offensive line would have on him in the middle is extremely hard to overcome unless he is an absolute freak.

Probably not a DT in a 3-4. Might be in a 4-3, but still more likely to play DE in either. Although Mincey and Nichols are listed as DEs I think they could be inside guys. Ferrell is an inside guy.

Games are won and lost in the trenches.  Flanagan is a loss no doubt, but safeties are easier to replace then quality big ole lineman.
