I'm jealous.  Nice rifle.  I bought one of the Rossi 92 clones in .44 Mag.  It has a color case hardened receiver, 20" octagonal barrel, and crescent buttplate.  It's shoots great, and is pretty, but I would love to have a real Winchester 92.  Come to think of it, I'd kind of like to have an 1886 Winchester Extra-Light 45-70 too, but can't justify the expense.

Is your rossi stainless?

No.  Blued with color case hardened receiver and buttplate.
