20hog11

Philon hopefully in the 4th.

Calling All Hogs

Darius is next in line accordingly to the grade on nfl.com.

AirForceHog

MS to the Redskins. Hail to the Redskins
If it turns, burns, banks or rolls, crew chiefs made it happen.

Spaight to the Skins! Woo Pig!
Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned. The second mouse, wouldn't quit. He struggled so hard that eventually he churned that cream into butter and crawled out. Gentlemen, as of this moment, I am that second mouse.

Happy for Spaight, wish we would have had him for 4 years under Bielema. Derby is still waiting and he is considered to be an underrated talent in this draft, according to Gil Brandt.
Go Hogs Go!

Bet Philon goes here to Saints....

edit: on second thought......

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Philon goes undrafted and has to go FA. I hope not for him, but it wouldn't surprise me if it turned out that way.

I bet he's kicking himself about now. Cowboys maybe?

True enough, no shortage of bad advice offered up either.

I think he was advised to stay from the people who actually know what they're talking about.

Not so much, poor long snappers and poor punters can cost you a game or two or more. I'll admit that it isn't normal to waste a draft pick on these two positions, but it is all about evaluated need.
Go Hogs Go!

Calling All Hogs

Congratulations to Tevin! He overcame a hell of an injury to get where he is today.

lahawg1

Tevin is another that did not reach anywhere near his potential and I blame it directly on his coaching the first 3 years he was here.

Goes before Philon?????

Agreed, can you imagine what Spaight might have turned out to be with 4 years under Bielema? Or if Derby had been under Bielema for 4 years as a TE?

Yep.
It's odd we've had 4 players taken and 2 end up in Washington.

He's one of the highest rated TEs left so there's a good chance he could go.  Not bad if all 5 end up drafted.

AirForceHog

I really hope AJ goes. That would be awesome.

Philon must've really wanted out of Fayetteville to leave early to be a 6th rounder. It's that or he believed some piss poor projection of his draft position.

At this point it's probably better for Derby to go undrafted so he can pick his team.

Or go to the Pats

I don't know what his family's financial situation is.  Maybe that is why he took the shot.
