Brought to you by domestic violence and weed arrests.  Good grief am i alone in that it sure seemed like a whole lot of players with "character" issues got drafted so far and a few guys (flowers) haven't been picked yet?

I wonder if this will come back to bite some people in the 6.

No, you are not alone. Money is the root of all evil.

Actually, it's the love of money.

1 Timothy 6:10: For the love of money is the root of all evil.

And if they produce nobody cares.  Especially the fantasy geeks.  To me fantasy football has really changed the public perception of the game.  We used to root for or against our teams.  Now most people don't care who wins, just if they scored fantasy points.  I propose that if you have a fantasy player on a winning team for that day you should get some kind of bonus points.  And if your fantasy player gets arrested you lose points!  Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now.

Talent over ways character in a lot of things.  It's sad, but that is life.  Work hard do right and get passed by because some guy has great talent.

I jokingly tell people the less you do the more you make and it really feels that way a lot in the working world.
If a man speaks and no woman is around to hear him, is he still wrong?

So because a guy has weed in his car, that means he doesn't work hard? You're kidding yourself. It shows a lack of judgement, sure. Let's be real here, if you put yourself in position to get drafted in the NFL, then you've probably worked hard to get there.

that isn't what i am saying, i guess the Clark DE from Michigan is my example here is a guy that isn't all that big, isn't really all that productive, but gets kicked off the team he has so many issues yet is still drafted before Flowers.

I just do not understand that.

It's like my mom used to tell me. Life's not fair, then you die.

A funny, but true quote that sums it up from the Arizona Cardinals' GM:

http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2015-04-22/cardinals-gm-steve-keim-character-concerns-hannibal-lecter-eating-disorder

"If Hannibal Lecter ran a 4.3, we'd probably diagnose it as an eating disorder"
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

I'm pretty sure Vince McMahon tried that.  Instead of an opening coin toss for the ball, each team put a player inside a metal cage with a bungee cord and a chainsaw.

311 I see what you mean about Clark. I guess it's one of those things where you have to evaluate each unique situation.

That's classic!
