Bubba's Bruisers

Crockett is a promising prospect.  Great that there's a stud instate RB in this class.  RB will be a major priority this year.  Need a couple studs.

All those 15, 16, and 17 year olds should be running sub 4.3s like all the pros do huh?

Notice he says your boy instead of "our coach". Very telling.

I'm not worried. If he recruits like he did here Louisville will fire him in about 5 years.

As all things become more and more digitalized, including the measuring and conveying of weight, height, performance, and so on, the unrealistic/fraudulent results of days gone by are over. In the real world, 4.6-4.7 is a 40 time most good backs will average. Receivers will hover a little faster 4.4-4.6. But only the freaky few ever get below 4.4, and possession of that type of world class speed rarely translates into success on the football field. Of course, having that type of speed is an amazing advantage, and if a player such as our own Alex Collins ran a sub 4.5, he would be other worldly when coupled with his incredible cutting and vision.

Well said.  Players want to make their stats look as good as possible, and regarding height/weight, coaches don't really have a vested interest in letting the world know if a particular player is smaller than he'd like, or came in overweight, etc.
