"It was almost like talking to God," Blue said.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound junior athlete from Jemison High School said as a kid he never envisioned he'd get a chance to meet people like Nick Saban. Spending time with the Alabama coach was intimidating at first, but Blue, who grew up an Alabama fan, couldn't stop smiling afterwards.

Alabama is one of multiple SEC programs recruiting the four-star prospect...

Blue already has scholarship offers from Clemson and UAB. He believes his first SEC offer -- from South Carolina -- is just a matter of time. South Carolina has told Blue it plans to offer him, but wants to wait until an assistant coach can visit Blue at his school.

LSU and Auburn have also expressed interest in Blue, who plays both receiver and outside linebacker in high school. Auburn likes him in its "Star" position -- the hybrid spot of safety and linebacker...

Muschamp's firing certainly helps Ole Miss out. He hasn't ordered a list of favorites or anything like that, but you'd have to think Ole Miss is up there. Florida makes it interesting. They've been thought to be the favorite for a while now. If the Gators can get a coach in by early December, they may still have a chance. Jefferson's decision will be a tight race until National signing day.

Four-star cornerback Ugo Amadi decommited from Ole Miss on Saturday morning, according to a tweet posted by National Playmakers Academy in Nashville, where Amadi trains.

With Amadi opening his recruitment back up, the Rebels now have 16 commitments in their 2015 class.

Amadi told 247Sports.com's Barton Simmons on Friday that Tennessee and LSU were still in the picture.

Amadi, who is ranked as Tennessee's No. 6 prospect and the No. 20 cornerback in the nation, plans to enroll early.

At Under Armour, seven recruits are set to announce their college decisions, but only one is an LSU target at this stage in the game. However, it's a big one. Five-star wide receiver Tyron Johnson, ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect in Louisiana, will announce between LSU, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. The Tigers hold more than 75-percent of the 35 predictions made on the 247Sports Crystal Ball, but LSU fans will approach with caution...

At the Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, there's a potential for 10 recruits to make their announcement on live television, including five-star and No. 1 offensive tackle Martez Ivey. While Ivey's most recent official visit went to LSU, it appears that Auburn and Florida are the frontrunners with his process now winding down. The same goes for Florida's Devonaire Clarington, who once was in the conversation with LSU fans but is now taking a hard look at Miami and Texas as decision day draws near.

That leaves one name to really watch: four-star defensive end Kyle Phillips.

Phillips made multiple visits to Baton Rouge this fall, including an official visit with his family. LSU repaid the favor by checking in on him every week during the contact period, including an in-home visit with Les Miles and defensive coordinator John Chavis just before the dead period set in. For a long time, Ole Miss and Tennessee were considered the teams to beat, but did the Tigers manage to pull ahead in the 11th hour?

Shades Valley defensive tackle Daron Payne, No. 2 on AL.com's A-List, will decide between Alabama and Auburn during the game, which starts at 4 p.m. EST/3 p.m. CT on ESPN. The five-star prospect has long been considered an Alabama lean, but he's resisted the idea of being a nose guard. He grew up an Auburn fan and has noted that he'd have a good opportunity to play early there.

Also [scheduled to announce] on Friday is five-star cornerback Kendall Sheffield. ... most believe he is down to Alabama and Texas A&M.
