Nice guy, too.   I was in Cleveland about 10 years ago, trying to check into a hotel at 3am,  when they had a room reservation mixup.    The other guest happened to be checking in at the same time,  Mark Calaway.   Given that I had a smoking room and he had a non-smoking room,  it was a fairly important difference.    We conferred with the clerk, who couldn't cancel either of our rooms and put them under our respective names because of their reservation system.    Once we confirmed the rooms were the same price, and the same duration,  it became a no-brainer.  We simply shook hands, traded room keys in front of the clerk,  and went about getting what we both had reserved and the hotel was not competent enough to give either of us.

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."
