It's a little bit past that time, but better late than never. With this unseasonably warm and sunny weather (in the PNW), it's a great time to go out and run your own mini-combine. Or, if you are in Arkansas, find some indoor track or something.

Height: 5'6 3/4"
weight 229
arms: 24"
hands: 8"
40 yard dash: 6.24 sec (best 4.28, worst 5.74)
bench (reps @225): 6 (best 37, worst 7)
3-cone drill: 9.93 sec (best 6.61, worst 8.28)
20 yard shuffle: 5.83 sec (best 3.82, worst 5.15)
40 yard shuffle (I knew there was a longer one, forgot it was supposed to be 60, not 40): 9.63 (n/a)
vertical: 14" (best 45, worst 17.5)
broad jump: 7'2" (best 12'3, worst 7' even).

I actually beat somebody at the combine!!!

About 1/3 of the way down there's some interactive tables where you can input your 40 time, reps on the bench press, vertical, and how far you can throw a ball and see what your Madden rating would be for each of those skills.

How does that compare to last year?

How does that compare to last year?

Last year my bench was only 2 reps, so marked improvement there. Weight is about 10 pounds higher. I haven't ever done the 3-cone or shuffle before. However, I am really pleased with my shuffle time. I hit around that mark a couple of times as well, so as far as handheld times go, that number is legit. Vertical was around 17" a few years ago, and I feel like at one point I hit 8' in the broad jump. I've had some lower back problems lately which has limited my legs. Forty yard dash has had a lot of variability. Partly due to approximations in what is forty yards, different people doing the timing, and just how good/bad my technique was. 6.3 was my previous best several years ago with times closer to or above 7 in the past two years, so getting under 6.3 was good.

Working on round? Define "that shape?"

Anybody can run these drills if they weigh 300 pounds and just watch tv all day. Granted, chance of injury if one is that sedentary is high. Also, chance of injury increases with age.

I spent zero time training on any of those drills except for bench press, which is part of my normal workout.

I train with climbers(2twice a week) and Sasuke(2wice a week), run once a week(but no sprints really). Little bit of dumb bells but really no free weights. The Sasuke changed my life. Its not just competing on ANW, its about feeling like you can kick life's a$$ and still go drinking later.

I believe that. I mostly do powerlifts with some dumbells in between. Mainly because for me, it is the most effective way for me to work out with the least mental effort. Granted, I try and mix it up. Days I don't feel like going I have a pull up bar and 20lb dumbells at home that I work with. Provides a bit of endurance and strength. Still, I really, really need to incorporate more cardio into my workout which is pretty loosey goosey as far as workouts go.
