Interesting how the best league in the Country only got one guy named, Glen Davis on 3rd team.

Broken Trigger

This oughta be renamed the ALL-ESPN Publicity team.

Calling All Hogs

Imagine this ESPN. Big game on the line. Two 1st teamers don't block out and a 3rd teamer
gets his own rebound off a free throw being the only one on his team still around the basket.
Wouldn't that be something! LOL

Give me

Ronald Steele
Ronnie Brewer
PJ Tucker (sorry I know, but he's really good)
Tyrus Thomas
Joakim Noah

...and my team will wipe the floor with any of the teams listed above.

CiriusPorker

welcome to the big time Ronnie..

hope it all goes well for you..

Good luck!

Texasbite

Only a 3rd team all american could get his team to the final four?  So much for being an all american, 14 all americans will be watching the final four on TV.  Really glad P.J. Tucker with Texas will be watching.  Texasbite

Amen. I would have picked the exact same 5.

And you gotta love it how ESPN would piss their pants that all 5 players come from Southern schools, lol.

I know, but off the top of my head, I couldn't think of an SEC 3 man that was worthy. If someone wants to nominate one, then I may re-consider.

Let Ronnie play the 3 and give CJ the 2, or let TT play the 3, Noah the 4, and put Big Baby in the middle.  (You may have intentionally left him out?)
If you don't know, now you know.

that starting 5 would tear it up, and it would be great to see vitale crap his pants b/c no duke or unc players are on the squad.

I like it, except for Tucker.  I'll take Glen Davis.  I like to keep it in the SEC.  But you're right, that team would take out any combination of five they have listed.

murray-vegas

4 of the top 5 all americans are seniors. Don't get me wrong but I like to see this when everyone is one and done in the college.

Also remember this, the SEC is made up of a ton of youth. Look at Florida and LSU, how many seniors are there? This list should have more SEC players easily next year.

MCPeePants

I don't see Tyrus Thomas on those lists and he's now being projected by some as the #1 overall pick if he comes out.

Where he finishes in the AP All-America voting is pretty much irrelevant to whether Brewer should stay or go.

According to Hogville, fantasy offense and passing 80 times a game wins championships.

sportscrazy

Ronnie Brewer would have been on the All-America Team if he would show up and play 40 minutes a game instead of the last 5 to 6 minutes.  He is much better than he is showing.

Shelden Williams first team is a joke.

Averaged a double - double for his career, playing some of the toughest competition in the land.  I'll take him on my team any day.

bknight33

All Americans are not based on two to four games in March but rather a whole season.  Most of the guys you made mention of did not warrant honors for their play over the entire season.  Having said that, Ronald Steele is a bad mofo.
