From the 2 FCS teams, to the D2 GAC teams, to Hendrix and Lyon. How are these schools looking for the season? Any expectations?

You miss the boat.  A four team playoff is a championship.  A championship produces... a champion. You seem to be looking for the "best" team.  The "best" doesn't exist. Best does not equal champion.  Best is a myth.

I've been checking the official sites I have linked to above and there has been little news from the Non-Division 1 colleges fall camps, or UAPB.

Lyon is picked #6 in their conference.
