I take a publication called "The Kickoff" (www.thekickoffstore.com)  and while I know in response to this I will hear a lot of: "You idiot, why do you take that rag" or "Everyone knows they don't know what they're talking about", et al, etc, HOWEVER, every week they show the schedule of the games and they rate the teams.  I have no idea how they arrive at their ratings.  In this week's lineup, here's how the teams in the SEC are rated:

Alabama:         124.0
LSU:           113.9
Auburn:        113.7
Kentucky:        111.0
Miss State:     110.0
Ole Miss:        105.6
Tennessee:     105.4
Arkansas:         104.9
Missouri:          98.0

Vanderbilt , Florida, Texas A&M, S. Carolina & Georgia are idle this week but last week's ratings were:

Georgia:           120.5
Florida:           113.6
Tex A&M:           111.3
S. Carolina:   110.4
Vanderbilt:   106.2

For those not paying attention, Arkansas is rated at the bottom of the SEC except for Missouri.

For comparison purposes, teams of some interest outside the SEC:

Ark State:           105.7
Duke:      107.0
Miami:      121.0
Notre Dame:   115.9
Texas:      110.4
Oklahoma:   118.0
Louisville:           110.0
SMU:      106.1
Memphis:           110.3

Make of all this what you will
